In this 8-week painting course, we will have fun painting loose, in an impressionistic style, using only a palette knife.
The “Bear in the Woods” will be our warm-up in which we’ll practice our palette knife skills, and then we will challenge our newly acquired skill by painting a human portrait.
If time allows, we will paint a third painting, a self-portrait.
With each 2-hour class, we will continue our learning journey, while always returning to the fundamentals.
Always observe values and contrast, and before you know it, you will look back and be impressed with your newly acquired skills!
This course is suitable for beginners and intermediate students.
